The 8 participating clubs could register a maximum of 20 players, but not all of the registered players were actually used. Niederrohrdorf and SV Wollishofen managed with 11 players each, Lugano Bianco Nero had all 20 registered players contest at least one competition. A total of 114 players were used, 12 of whom played in all competitions.
Players from 11 nations were registered, with the majority of the foreigners coming from neighboring Germany and Italy.
The best individual result was achieved by Branko Filipović (SV Birsfelden / Beider Basel) with 5 points from 6 games. The same number of points also reached Nedeljko Kelecevic (ASK Winterthur), but he needed 7 games. With Mihajlo Stojanović , Henryk Dobosz (both SV Birsfelden / Beider Basel), Bernhard Lutz, Hans-Peter Henne (both Basel BVB), Mirko Ballmer (ASK Winterthur) and Joel Kruell (Lugano Bianco Nero) six players achieved 100% of the possible points , but they only played a few games. Stojanović was used three times, Lutz twice, the other named players once each, while Henne won his only game without a fight.
The oldest player of the season was Benjamin Grunder (* 1935), who played for SV Birsfelden / Beider Basel, while Andreas Heimann (Basel BVB) and Kambez Nuri (ASK Winterthur), born in 1992, were the youngest players .
