Manuel d'Almeida Trindade (born April 20, 1918 in Monsanto , Portugal , † August 5, 2008 ) was Bishop of Aveiro .

Life

Manuel d'Almeida Trindade was ordained a priest on December 21, 1942 . In 1962 he was by John XXIII. appointed Bishop of Aveiro. He received his episcopal consecration on December 16, 1962, the Bishop of Faro Júlio Tavares Rebimbas ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in Aveiro António dos Santos and the curia bishop Alberto Tricarico .

Manuel d'Almeida Trindade was placed on September 8, 1983 by António Baltasar Marcelino as coadjutor bishop of Aveiro. On January 20, 1988, d'Almeida Trindade's resignation was granted by Pope John Paul II .
