The Mara in Romania

Mara ( Romanian Râul Mara ; Hungarian Mára ) is a river in northern Romania in the Maramureş district .

The Mara Valley extends over a length of 40 kilometers. At its exit, the Mara flows into the Iza in Vadu Izei . Shortly afterwards, the Iza flows into the Tisza at Sighetu Marmației , which forms the border river there with the Ukraine .
