Marc Coma (born October 7, 1976 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish enduro racer .

Career

He had his first major successes in enduro sport in 1998 when he won the international six-day race and became European Enduro Champion in the class up to 250 cm³ .

Marc Coma became rally raid world champion in 2005, 2006 and 2007 and won the Dakar Rally in 2006, 2009, 2011, 2014 and 2015 on a KTM . He also won a variety of other rally events, including the UAE Desert Challenge in Dubai, the Pharaohs Rally in Egypt, the Rally Morocco , and the La Pampa Rally in Argentina. In 2015 he retired from active racing and is now part of the management of the organizer ASO in organizing the Dakar Rally. At the 2020 Dakar Rally Coma will be co-driver with Fernando Alonso .
