Marc Houtzager (born January 9, 1971 in Hoogeveen , Overijssel province ) is a Dutch show jumper.

In March 2019 he was ranked 33rd in the world.

Career

In 2008 he won the Dutch championship with the team and won silver in singles. At the CHIO in Rotterdam in the same year, he finished fifth. He also started with opium at the Olympic Games in Hong Kong. In the individual he finished seventh, with the team he rode fourth.

At the Olympic Games in London in 2012 , he won the silver medal with the Dutch team, in the individual, he finished ninth.

Private

He is in a relationship with the Austrian show jumper Julia Kayser . They have two daughters together.
