Marcel Schlosser (born August 8, 1987 in Pobershau ) is a German football player . He has been under contract with VfB Auerbach since August 2015 .

Career

Marcel Schlosser started playing football in his hometown at TSV 1872 Pobershau and then joined the big Saxon neighbor Chemnitzer FC at the age of almost 17 . With the A-Jugend of the CFC, he made it to the U-19 Bundesliga in 2006 and played in the first team from the following season.

The versatile offensive player was a fixture in the team from the start and already made 29 appearances and six goals in his first year. In the following year he was also used in the outer positions in midfield and also distinguished himself as a template provider. He scored a remarkable goal in December 2007 when he converted a corner directly. The goal was voted goal of the month and took fourth place in the vote for goal of the year.

Chemnitz managed to qualify for the reorganized Regionalliga Nord in 2008 , where Schlosser continued to play mainly on the left wing position. It wasn't until the end of the season that he was set back by injuries, first a tear in the syndesmosis ligament, then a fatigue fracture of the lumbar vertebra. He only returned on the 14th matchday of the following season and it took some time to return to the starting lineup. The following year, however, he was fully back in action, even though he only played 16 of his 31 appearances as a substitute. But he had his most successful season to date with eight goals, four of which were " joker goals" . 2010/11 became the sovereign champions of the Regionalliga Nord with the CFC and rose to the 3rd division .

On the first day of the 2011/12 season , the Pobershauer made his professional debut as a substitute. From 2012 to 2014 Schlosser played at FC Carl Zeiss Jena . From the 2014/15 season he ran for 1. FC Magdeburg . On May 31, 2015, as part of the team, he made it to the third division in the second leg of the relegation against Kickers Offenbach .

After it no longer played a role in the planning of 1. FC Magdeburg in the 2015/16 season , the club and locksmiths agreed to terminate the existing contract. Then Schlosser moved to VfB Auerbach in the Regionalliga Nordost , where he received a one-year contract.
