Marcjan Trofimiak

Marcjan Trofimiak (born April 16, 1947 in Kosowa ) is a Ukrainian clergyman and emeritus bishop of Lutsk .

Life

The Apostolic Administrator of Riga , Julijan's Cardinal Vaivods , ordained him a priest on May 26, 1974 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Auzia and auxiliary bishop in Lemberg on January 16, 1991 . The Archbishop of Lemberg, Marian Jaworski , donated him the episcopal ordination on March 2nd of the same year; Co- consecrators were Stanisław Nowak , Bishop of Częstochowa , and Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz , Apostolic Administrator of European Russia .

As a motto he chose Per Christum, cum Christo et in Christo . On March 25, 1998, he was appointed Bishop of Lutsk . He resigned from his office on July 24, 2012.
