Marco Buljević (born March 26, 1987 in Sindelfingen ) is a German basketball player .
Career
At the age of 16 he moved from his home club TV Konstanz to the basketball boarding school Erdgas Ehingen / Urspring School . There he played for the youth team of the Urspring School as well as for Ehingen in the Pro A and was appointed to the German national basketball team (U18 juniors) , for which he represented his home country at the EM 2005.
He then signed a contract with the Giessen 46ers in the basketball league in summer 2006 . After a coach change, he was there regularly under coach Ken Scalabroni for use.
In 2008 he got a two-year contract with EWE Baskets Oldenburg , where he became German champion in 2009 and played in the top European division ULEB Euroleague .
From 2010-2016 he played for the ETB Wohnbau Baskets in the Pro A .
On May 4, 2016, his move to FC Schalke 04 in the ProB was announced.
In April 2017, during an internship, he got a permanent position in strategic marketing at the football club of FC Schalke 04 and has since played basketball for VfL AstroStars Bochum in the 2nd Bundesliga .
