Marco Steffens
Marco Steffens (* 9. August 1978 in Villingen-Schwenningen ) is a German politician of the CDU .
Life
Steffens grew up in Niedereschach . After graduating from the Zinzendorf-Gymnasium Königsfeld in the Black Forest , he studied administrative sciences at the University of Konstanz and Bath / England .
In 2007 he was elected mayor of the community of Willstätt in the Ortenau district. On October 14, 2018, he was elected Lord Mayor of Offenburg in the first ballot with 52% of all votes ; Steffens took up his post on December 3, 2018.
