Marek Jarolím [ ˈmarek ˈjarɔ̹liːm ] (born May 21, 1984 in Olomouc ) is a Czech football player .

Career

society

Jarolím started playing football at Sparta Prague . From the 2002/03 season he was used in the B team, which was playing in the 2nd division at that time. In the 2004/05 season, the midfielder was loaned to FK Mladá Boleslav , for which he played 23 first division games. In his second appearance in the top division, he scored a goal. For the 2005/06 season he returned to Sparta Prague, but was loaned to Viktoria Plzen in mid-August . Jarolím returned to Prague during the winter break , but was again only used in the B team.

Finally, in the summer of 2006, he finally moved to Pilsen . There he quickly developed into a regular player. In the 2007/08 season he became team captain and was one of the best players on his team. Jarolím was signed by Slavia Prague during the 2007/08 winter break . After a year and a half at Slavia Prague, with whom Jaorlím won two Czech championships, he moved to FK Jablonec in early September 2009 .

National team

During his time at Sparta Prague Jarolím played on April 16, 2003 a game for the Czech U19 selection against Hungary, which was won 3-2. A year and a half later he made his first and last appearance in the U21 national team. On October 8, 2004, the Czechs defeated Romania 4-1.

Others

His father Vlastimil Jarolím played for Sigma Olomouc in the 1970s and 1980s . His uncle Karel Jarolím is a trainer. His cousins David Jarolím and Lukáš Jarolím are professional footballers.
