action

Jack Moniker of the Chicago Fire Department is disabled in an accident. With the money from the insurance he wants to go to the Caribbean and enjoy life there. He opts for the Caribbean state of Saint Nicholas. He buys a small piece of land and from now on lives on the island with others tired of civilization such as the politician Anthony Cloyden Hayes.

Because Jack's friend Ernest cannot pay his rent for his beach house, he is threatened with eviction. Jack helps him financially and becomes a partner in Club Paradise. With various tricks, such as For example, with a “fish lens” that makes rooms appear larger in photos, they try to create a kind of Club Med with the help of Phillipa, whom Jack has had an eye on. Success soon sets in, the club is well attended by tourists, including those who are more geared towards the Caribbean way of life, i.e. sex and dope.

The property speculator Voit Zerbe wants Jack and Ernest to sell their property so that a large casino can be built there. Club Paradise is being harassed by the authorities and the government. Zerbe has short-circuited with the prime minister of the island nation. But Jack and Ernest are not deterred. In this situation, the prime minister lets his soldiers attack the club. With the help of Hayes, Jack can stop the Prime Minister, especially since Zerbe has meanwhile fled the island. This is how Club Paradise can resume business.
