Margarita Levieva (born February 9, 1980 in Leningrad , Soviet Union ) is an American actress .

Life

Margarita Levieva comes from a Russian-Jewish family. At the age of three she began training in rhythmic gymnastics . When she was eleven, her mother moved her and her twin brother to Brooklyn , New York City.

There she attended Secaucus High School , New Jersey, and then studied economics at New York University . She completed her acting training at the William Esper Studio.

Career

In 2005, New York Magazine voted her one of the 50 Most Beautiful New York People. In 2006 she starred in the television series Vanished . This was followed by roles in films such as Invisible - Between Two Worlds , Billy's Choice and Noise - Lärm! .

In 2009 Levieva played Lisa P. in the comedy film Adventureland . In the same year she appeared in an episode of the NBC drama series Kings and starred in the play The Retributionists , as well as in the series How to Make It in America . In 2011 followed a supporting role in the thriller The Client with Matthew McConaughey . Her other films include Knights of Badassdom and The Diary of a Teenage Girl .

From 2011 to 2013 followed a recurring role of Amanda Clarke (Emily Thorne) on Revenge . In 2017, she starred in The Deuce as Abigail Parker, an adventurous college student who has a relationship with Vincent ( James Franco ), the show's main character.
