Noise - noise! is an American comedy film from the year 2007 . Directed by Henry Bean , who also wrote the script and co-produced the film.

action

The successful lawyer David Owen lives in Manhattan . It is sensitive to noises, especially those of the car alarms. First he answered the burden of vandalism, later he started a political campaign against the mayor of the city. His wife Helen breaks up with him. Owen finds popular support and wins the fight against the politician.

Reviews

Prairie Miller wrote in News Blaze on May 4, 2008 that Tim Robbins acted "unusually crazy and violent" in the film . The director and screenwriter have experience with "frenzy" , but it leads nowhere. Still, one cannot challenge the film for a certain daring spirit.

The lexicon of international films said: "Funny and profound, convincingly played social satire about life in a modern age that has become independent and reflects powerlessness and excessive demands on the individual."

The film was shot in New York City and in Mahwah Township ( New Jersey turned). Its world premiere took place on October 22, 2007 at a festival in Rome , followed by the AFI Film Festival on November 6, 2007 . In January and February 2008 the film was released directly on DVD in Greece and Russia . On May 9th, 2008 it was shown in selected cinemas in the USA.
