Lee Percy

Lee Percy (born February 10, 1953 in Kalamazoo , Michigan ) is an American film editor .

Life

After Lee Percy studied drama under John Houseman at the Juilliard School in New York City and film at the University of California , he was able to edit Shogun Assasin for the first time in 1980 . This was followed by films like Shut Up, Boss! , Re-Animator and From Beyond - Aliens of Horror . His work was most recently awarded for the two television films Gray Gardens and Taking Chance , for which he received an Emmy and Eddie Award , as well as a nomination in the same category.

He has worked with director Barbet Schroeder for many years in particular since 1990. He not only cut the Oscar-winning film The Affair of Sunny by B. , but also Kiss of Death , Before and After and Murder According to Plan for him.

Lee Percy is a member of the American Cinema Editors .
