Chuck Cooper (born November 8, 1954 in Cleveland , Ohio ) is an American actor , musical artist and singer.

Life and accomplishments

Chuck Cooper made his debut as a child in a minor supporting role in the Western Run Home Slow from 1965. He played his first theater role in 1983. He only received other film and television roles since the mid-1980s. He played a judge in the television drama Criminal Justice (1990) starring Forest Whitaker and Anthony LaPaglia . In the crime comedy His last coup (2000) he appeared on the side of Christopher Walken , Vera Farmiga and Cyndi Lauper . In the comedy Noise! (2007) he starred alongside Tim Robbins . As a theater actor, he won the 1997 Tony Award . His daughter Lilli Cooper is also an actress.
