Margit Elisabeth Pörtner (born February 16, 1972 in Hørsholm ; † April 26, 2017 ) was a Danish curler .

Pörtner made her international debut at the Junior World Championship in Glasgow in 1991 , but she remained without a medal. In 1993 she won her first precious metal with the bronze medal at the JWM in Grindelwald .

Pörtner played as the third of the Danish team in the XVIII. Winter Olympics in Nagano in curling. The team won the Olympic silver medal after a 5-7 defeat in the final against Canada by Skip Sandra Schmirler .

Margit Pörtner died in April 2017 at the age of 45 from complications from cancer.
