Marguerite MacIntyre

Marguerite MacIntyre (born May 11, 1965 in Detroit , Michigan ) is an American actress .

Career

MacIntyre made her stage debut at the age of sixteen. She then appeared in various theater productions in Detroit and on Broadway . MacIntyre received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California and studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London .

On television, MacIntyre starred in television series such as Seinfeld , Veronica and Ally McBeal before getting the role of psychologist Nicole Trager on the mystery series Kyle XY . In the fantasy series Vampire Diaries she was seen as Sheriff Forbes from 2009 to 2017 .
