Mari Ozaki
Mari Ozaki ( Japanese 小 崎 ま り , Ozaki Mari ; born July 16, 1975 in Hirakata ) is a Japanese long-distance runner .
At the 2001 World Athletics Championships in Edmonton, she finished 19th in the 10,000 meter run .
In 2002 she won the Kagawa Marugame Half Marathon , and a year later she made a successful marathon debut when she finished fifth in the Osaka Women's Marathon in 2:23:30 .
Two years later she qualified in the same place by a second place in 2:23:59 for the World Athletics Championships 2005 in Helsinki, where she finished 15th in the marathon.
The 2007 season started for her with a second place in the Osaka Women's Marathon in 2:24:39. Again she was nominated for the 2007 World Championships , and in fourth place she won bronze in the marathon team championship in Osaka together with Reiko Tosa and Kiyoko Shimahara .
