Maria Fliri (born June 28, 1973 in Bregenz , Vorarlberg ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Maria Fliri attended the Educational Institute for Kindergarten Education (BAKIP) in Feldkirch , where she graduated from high school in 1992 . She received her acting training at the Krauss Drama School in Vienna , from which she graduated in 1996.

In the 1996/97 season she appeared as a guest at the Vienna Volkstheater as Kadett in Cyrano de Bergerac directed by Michael Schottenberg and as Elsa in The Gift of the Gorgon in a production by Zeno Stanek . In 2013 she appeared on ORF in the episode Shit Happens of the television series Schlawiner as Gabi Klim, in the episode Creation of the series SOKO Kitzbühel she played the role of Sandra Tauchberger.

Directed by Karl Markovics , she shot the film Nobadi in spring 2018 , in which she played the veterinarian Dr. Oppolzer embodied. In the autumn of the same year she worked again with Markovics and directed the Vorarlberg ORF country crime thriller The Last Problem , in which she had a leading role as hotel director Beate Riegler.

In the ORF television series Walking on Sunshine (first broadcast in 2019) she played a public prosecutor, in the television film Der Stumpengang from the ZDF / ORF crime series Die Toten vom Bodensee (also in 2019) she was seen as a museum employee.
