Maria of Bavaria
Maria Ludwiga Theresia Princess of Bavaria (* July 6, 1872 in Lindau ; † June 10, 1954 there ) was a Bavarian princess.
Life
Maria was the daughter of King Ludwig III. of Bavaria and Archduchess Marie Therese of Austria-Este .
She married Prince Ferdinand of Bourbon-Sicily , Duke of Calabria , eldest son of Alfonso Maria di Borbone , Prince of Bourbon and Naples-Sicily and his wife Princess Maria Antonia of Bourbon-Sicily on May 31, 1897 in Munich .
Maria was considered meek. When her mother was dying in 1919, she took care of her. She herself died at the age of 81 in the Villa Amsee in Lindau. She is buried in the cemetery of the Starnberg district of Rieden, which belongs to the St. Peter and Paul branch church.
