Marian Florczyk (born October 25, 1954 in Kielce , Poland ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop in Kielce .

Life

Marian Florczyk received on 6 June in 1981 by the Bishop of Kielce, Stanisław Szymecki , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On February 21, 1998 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Limata and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Kielce. The Archbishop of Cracow , Cardinal Franciszek Macharski , donated him episcopal ordination on April 18 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Kielce, Kazimierz Ryczan , and the auxiliary bishop in Kielce, Mieczysław Jaworski .

Bishop Ryczan and his successor Jan Piotrowski appointed him vicar general .

On November 11, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him a member of the Pontifical Council for Culture .
