This discography is an overview of the musical works of British rock musician , songwriter and actress Marianne Faithfull . Since starting her career in 1965, Faithfull has managed to place albums and singles in the charts worldwide for more than five decades. Faithfull's most successful solo release is the album Broken English (1979) with 520,000 certified sales units worldwide.
