Marie (singer)
Marie (aka Marie-France Dufour , born August 8, 1949 in Nancy ; † October 18, 1990 ) was a French chanson singer .
Her first recordings began in 1970, and in 1971 she successfully took part in the La Rose d´Or d´Antibes singing competitions and the Festival de la Chanson de Spa . She was selected to represent Monaco at the 1973 Eurovision de la Chanson Concours in Luxembourg . Her chanson Un train qui part came in 8th. From 1980 she could also be seen on the musical stage : as Éponine in Les Misérables .
She died of leukemia in 1990 at the age of 41 .
