Mariya Panfilova ( Ukrainian Марія Панфілова , Eng. Transcription Mariya Panfilova , born Russian Мария Александровна Садилова - Marija Alexandrovna Sadilowa - Mariya Sadilova * 11. October 1987 in Perm , USSR ) is a Russian biathlete who their greatest successes for Ukraine starting reached, and now competes for Belarus.

Marija Panfilowa made her debut under her maiden name Sadilowa international 2007 in races of the Junior European Cup. At the Junior European Championships in 2008 in Nové Město na Moravě , she won gold with the relay and bronze in the pursuit race, after she had previously only been 15th in the sprint. Sadilova, who has been part of the Russian senior squad since the 2008/09 season , had her first appearances with women at the 2009 European Biathlon Championships in Ufa . In the individual she was sixth, in the relay the Russian won the silver medal behind the Ukrainian relay together with her compatriots Anastassija Kuznetsova , Yekaterina Jurlowa and Lyubow Petrowa .

Since the 2012/2013 season she starts under her new name Panfilowa for the Ukraine. She took part in the 2013 European Championships in Bansko , where she just missed winning medals as fourth in the sprint and fifth in the pursuit, winning bronze in the relay race with Julija Dschyma , Jana Bondar and Iryna Warwynez . Shortly afterwards Panfilowa was nominated for the first time for the Biathlon World Cup and immediately won first World Cup points at Holmenkollen in Oslo as 17th in the sprint and 23rd in the pursuit. In Sochi she achieved her best result in the World Cup with 13th place in the individual at the pre-Olympic competitions. The highlight of his career was the participation in the 2014 Winter Olympics in the same place a year later , where Panfilowa was used in the mixed relay and was seventh with this. After the season she ended her career first. The main reason for this was the poor financial situation of the Ukrainian association on the one hand, and its Russian origins on the other, both due to the crisis in Ukraine in 2014 .

Panfilowa has been operating for Belarus since 2015. So far it has mostly been used in the IBU Cup, only at the World Cups in Canmore and Presque Isle it was used in World Cups, and after the 80th and 85th races in the sprints, it could not qualify for further races. The highlight since moving to Belarus was the 2016 European Championships in Tyumen , where she achieved her best results as sixth in the sprint and 14th in the mass start.
