Marilyn Chinwenwa Okoro (born September 23, 1984 in London ) is a British athlete who specializes in the 400 and 800 meter run .

At the World Athletics Championships in Osaka in 2007 , she won the bronze medal in the British 4 x 400 meter relay in the national record time of 3: 20.04 s. In the 800-meter run she reached the semi-finals. At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 , she finished fifth with the British 4 x 400 meter relay. In the 800 m she missed the finals in sixth place in her semifinal run in 1: 59.63 s. At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Turin in 2009 , she won the silver medal with the British relay. She finished fifth in the 800-meter run.

At the European Athletics Championships in Barcelona in 2010 , Okoro won the bronze medal with the relay, while she was eliminated over 800 m in the preliminary run. In 2011, she finished fifth in the 800-meter run at the European Indoor Championships in Paris and won the silver medal again in the relay like two years earlier.

Marilyn Okoro is 1.65 m tall and has a competition weight of 64 kg. She studied French and Politics at the University of Bath and is starting for the Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers .
