Mario Konrad (born January 22, 1983 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Mario Konrad began his career with the offspring of SK Rapid Vienna and VfB Stuttgart , as well as his regular club SV Leobendorf in Lower Austria . In 2001 he signed his first professional contract with SC Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz . After three years in Bregenz , Konrad moved to Kapfenberger SV in the first division for one year in 2004 . From 2005 to 2007 he played at LASK Linz . From the 2007/08 season he was under contract with German regional league team SpVgg Unterhaching . After only one year, Konrad moved to Bundesliga club SCR Altach , where he played 33 games and scored six goals.

In the 2009/10 season Konrad moved to SK Rapid Vienna. On August 2, 2009 Konrad scored his first goal for Rapid against SK Austria Kärnten . After Rapid wanted to sell Konrad again in the summer of 2010, but could not find a buyer, he has only trained with the amateur team since then. Surprisingly, he appeared again in the Viennese squad in November, but has not yet played in 2010/11. After the end of the season Konrad signed with the regional division SV Horn . With Horn he was able to get promoted to the first league, but surprisingly switched to FC Liefering , the farm team of FC Red Bull Salzburg , in the summer of 2012 . In the winter of the 2013/2014 season, Mario Konrad moved to the 1st Lower Austria regional league for SV Leobendorf.

In the summer of 2019 he moved to the fourth-class First Vienna FC.
