Mario Michiaki Yamanouchi

Mario Michiaki Yamanouchi SDB ( Japanese マ リ オ 山野 内 倫昭 , Mario Yamanouchi Michiaki ; born December 8, 1955 in the city of Saiki , Ōita , Japan ) is a Japanese religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Saitama .

Life

Mario Michiaki Yamanouchi joined the Order of the Salesians of Don Bosco in 1975 and made perpetual profession on January 24, 1982 . He received on 21 December 1984, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On June 2, 2018, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Saitama. The Archbishop of Tokyo , Tarcisio Isao Kikuchi SVD , donated him episcopal ordination on September 24 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Nagasaki , Joseph Mitsuaki Takami PSS , and the Archbishop of Osaka , Thomas Aquino Man'yō Cardinal Maeda .
