Marisa Christine Coughlan (born March 17, 1974 in Minneapolis , Minnesota ) is an American actress , screenwriter and film producer .

life and career

Coughlan attended the University of Southern California, where she graduated with degrees in acting and French. In addition to her studies, she devoted herself to archery and won numerous awards in this sport. She also founded the Trojan Backgammon Society at her university .

Coughlan made her acting debut in 1995 in the film Fist of the North Star - The Redeemer . After a few guest appearances in various television series and supporting roles in the television films Mother at Fifteen and Murder Without Memory , she succeeded in 1999 with her role in the movie Kill Mrs. Tingle! the breakthrough. She then made films such as Deadly Rumors , Freddy Got Fingered and Super Troopers . She also took on permanent roles in the television series Wasteland and Boston Legal . After a long absence, she played a leading role in the movie Space Station 76 again in 2014 .
