Mark P. Stoeckinger

Mark P. Stoeckinger (born December 30, 1959 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American sound engineer .

Life

Stoeckinger began his career in 1980 as a production assistant for the student short film Proof . From 1984 he worked in Hollywood as a sound engineer, occasionally also for television. From 1988 to 1990 he worked on the television series Miami Vice ; He was nominated for a Primetime Emmy in 1985 for his work on the miniseries Space - A Man Reaches for the Stars .

Between 1998 and 2011 he was nominated three times for the Oscar in the category Best Sound Editing : 1998 together with Per Hallberg for Im Körper des Feindes , 2010 together with Alan Rankin for Star Trek and 2011 for Unstoppable - Out of Control .
