Life
Mark Warner grew up in Los Angeles . After a few internships, he was allowed to assist Don Zimmerman with the editing of the two films Coming Home - You are returning home and Welcome Mr. Chance , both staged by director Hal Ashby . A few years later he was responsible for editing a film for the first time in 1982 with Just 48 Hours and Rocky 3 - The Tiger's Eye .
Warner has had a longstanding collaboration with the Australian director Bruce Beresford in particular . So he not only edited Pancho Villa - Mexican Outlaw , but also Doppelmord , The Contract and Mao's last dancer . For the first collaboration between Miss Daisy and her chauffeur , Warner received an Oscar nomination for Best Editing in 1990 .
