Markus Ganter (* 1986 in Müllheim , Baden-Wuerttemberg ) is a German music producer who gained fame primarily through his collaboration with the artists Casper , Sizarr and Dagobert .

Career

Markus Ganter began studying “pop music design” at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg in Mannheim in 2007 , which brought him into contact with various German sound designers and producers at an early age. While still a student, he published his version of William Fitzsimmons "So This Is Goodbye" in early 2010 under the name Pink Ganter . Clicked over a million times on YouTube, the remix immediately landed at number 1 on the Hype Machine charts and was featured in the soundtrack of What a Man . It followed u. a. Remixes for The Naked and Famous , FM Belfast and The Knocks.
In 2011 Ganter took over the production of the debut album "Psycho Boy Happy" by the Landau band Sizarr, which was followed by the albums of the Heidelberg rapper Muso and the Swiss singer Dagobert. The most successful and media-effective production activity to date appeared in collaboration with the German-speaking rapper Casper, for whose album Hinterland Ganter collaborated with Konstantin Gropper ( Get Well Soon ).

In 2014, Markus Ganter and Konstantin Gropper were nominated for the Echo in the category “Producer / Producer National” for their work on the Casper album “Hinterland” , but were subject to Erich Ließmann for Helene Fischer'sColor Game ”.

style

The musical repertoire of his productions is versatile, beat-conscious and ranges from hip-hop, indie rock and pop to hits. Clear beats, orchestral use of instruments and clean synthesizer sounds are often used in Ganter's sound concept.
