Career

Wüst, who started for SC Wildhaus-Dorf , made his World Cup debut on January 21, 1989 in Breitenwang , but missed the points. This he reached a year later in February 1990 with a fifth place in the Gundersen competition in Štrbské Pleso . This placement should remain his best World Cup result.

Wüst achieved his greatest successes in the 1994/95 season when he was able to win two individual victories and the overall standings in the second-rate B-World Cup in Nordic Combined . He also took part in the Nordic World Ski Championships in Thunder Bay in 1995 , where he won the bronze medal in the relay together with Armin Krügel , Stefan Wittwer and Jean-Yves Cuendet .
