Ursula Zybach

Ursula Zybach (born August 29, 1967 ; resident in Innertkirchen , Pratteln and Hölstein ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Life

Ursula Zybach grew up in Spiez in the Bernese Oberland . She attended elementary school in Spiez and then the grammar school in Interlaken . From 1987 to 1993 Zybach completed a degree in food science at the ETH Zurich , which she graduated in 1993. Food engineer graduated from ETH. She then worked until 2000 as a research assistant at the Institute for Social and Preventive Medicine at the University of Basel and from 2000 to 2002 as Head of Health Promotion at CONCORDIA Health Insurance in Lucerne . From 2002, Zybach worked as a member of the management team at the Swiss Cancer League , first as program manager for colorectal cancer prevention until 2008 and then as division manager for prevention and early detection until 2013. From 1998 to 2011 she was a lecturer for health promotion and prevention at the Migros Club School . Zybach has been managing director of Denk-Art 13 GmbH in Spiez, a provider of services for public health, since 2013. Ursula Zybach is married and lives in Spiez.

Zybach was a member of the large municipal council (legislature) of Spiez from 2005 to 2011, which she presided over in 2009. From 2005 to 2006 she was a member of the business audit committee. She has been a member of the municipal council (executive) of Spiez since 2012 and heads the finance department. In 2014 Zybach was elected to the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern , where she was a member of the Business Audit Committee from 2014 to 2017. She was re-elected in 2018 and has been a member of the Finance Commission ever since. From 2017 to 2018 Ursula Zybach was President of the Grand Council.

Ursula Zybach was Vice President of the SP Canton Bern from 2010 to 2016 . She has been President of Breastfeeding Promotion Switzerland since 2007 and President of the Swiss Public Health Association since 2009 , which she also served as Executive President from 2014 to 2015. Zybach has been a board member of IdéeSport since 2017 and President of Spitex Canton Bern since 2018 . She is Vice President of Allianz Gesunde Schweiz and board member of the Tobacco Prevention Working Group and the Swiss Society for Nutrition SGE . Ursula Zybach has been a board member of the UNESCO World Heritage Foundation Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch and board member of the Interlaken Classics music festival since 2018 . Since 2018 she has also been a member of the Advisory Board in the Social Work Department of the Bern University of Applied Sciences for Social Work .
