Jam Grandma (civil name: Helga Sofie Josefa * 23. September 1931 ) is a German YouTuber and live Streamerin on Twitch and YouTube from Ettlingen , by the reading of fairy tales became known. The inventor of the name Marmeladen-Oma is grandson Janik (* December 24, 2001), who also takes care of the production of the videos. Videos of the live streams are also published on YouTube. She has four children, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Content of the YouTube channel

The core element of her YouTube channel MarmeladenOma are the regular fairy tale live streams, which Janik records every Saturday from 8 p.m. in her apartment in Ettlingen. In it, the jam grandma reads fairy tales, answers questions and comments from the audience in several rounds of questions and tells stories from her childhood and youth. Furthermore, there are at irregular intervals videos with other topics such as game live streams and videos where they computer games or board games played, or vlogs of enterprises and travel.

The channel received a boost in popularity in January 2017 when web video producer Gronkh drew attention to Jam-Grandma in a live stream.
