With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Marolles-les-Braults and Dissé-sous-Ballon were merged into the Commune nouvelle Marolles-les-Braults of the same name and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are located in Marolles-les-Braults.
