Martin Brandlmayr
Martin Brandlmayr (* 1971 in Vienna ) is an Austrian musician .
Life
Martin Brandlmayr is a trained drummer, but also plays computers and electronic instruments. In 2002 he was “artist in residence” with Christof Kurzmann in Podewil in Berlin . In 2005 he performed at the Donaueschinger Musiktage .
Since 1993 he has been a member of the Polwechsel group . He became known through the post-rock trio Radian, founded in 1997 with John Normann and Stefan Nemeth. But he also worked with musicians such as Otomo Yoshihide , Fennesz , Mapstation , Pure , John Tilbury , Tony Buck and Paul Lovens .
Brandlmayr lives in Vienna and Berlin.
