Martin Gottschild
Martin Gottschild (artist name Gotti ) (born September 24, 1976 in Berlin ) is a German musician , comedian , author and actor .
In addition to his stage partner Sven van Thom , he is part of the comedy duo Animals pet people .
Life
Gottschild grew up in a musical family in Berlin-Pankow , graduated from high school and then planned to study music. The difficult entrance tests made him hesitate, so instead he completed an apprenticeship as a retail salesman at the Hellersdorf music store. He started playing in different bands. As a musician, he sings and plays bass and guitar.
Create
Since 2000 he has been a member of the band Sofaplanet , founded by Sven Rathke , his later stage partner . In addition, he is a founding member of the band Beatplanet , founded in 2003 , which appeared in 2007/2008 as the opening act for the Doctors . In 2007 he joined the band at the Federal Vision Song Contest in
Since 2008 he has also appeared in Sven van Thom's band, Die stahlharten Bäuche .
In 2012 he starred in Martin Persiel's film This Ain't California .
In 2013 Gotti was nominated together with Sebastian Mösch for the German Radio Prize in the category of best comedy.
From January 2014 to April 2016, Gotti and Sven van Thom produced the weekly radio section "Animals petting people" for radioEins , which was broadcast on Fridays as part of the program "Die Schöne Woche".
From May 2016 to March 2019 he could be heard together with Tommy Wosch in the weekly program "radioZwei" on Radio Eins.
