Tommy Wosch , actually Thomas Maria Johannes Elemer Alexis Vass , (born May 7, 1968 in Munich - Pasing ) is a German radio presenter and comedian . In addition, he works for television as a presenter, announcer and film producer . Since February 2015 he has headed the new comedy unit of UFA Fiction as the responsible producer.

Life

Wosch studied law and graduated with the second state examination. During his studies he worked at the Augsburg radio station Radio Kö and later at Radio 7 in Ulm as a presenter. He also worked temporarily as a film editor .

From 1995 to 2010 he worked as a radio presenter at Fritz . He also hosted the radio broadcasts Bollmann , the German-German citizen phone , from 18 and Blue Moon . Obviously due to an insult in a broadcast, other Fritz moderators began moderating his Blue Moon broadcasting route from December 2002, and from March 2003 he no longer moderated the Bollmann program . From September 2003 he resumed his work. From 2006 he regularly moderated the Fritz pub quiz . From July 2007 he hosted the program Ab 18 - the Tommy Wosch show with co-host Kathrin Thüring on Radio Fritz . This program was canceled on July 9, 2010.

From 2010 to 2012 Wosch produced and hosted the “ Infotainment Show” The Tommy Wosch Show , later renamed Wosch, for the youth radio station Energy . The Energy Evening Show. It was broadcast simultaneously on most German energy stations. Together with Wosch, Kathrin Thüring first moderated, later Michael Balzer.

From May 6, 2013 until 2016, Wosch hosted the program Die Schöne Woche on Radio Eins (rbb), alternating weekly . From May 27, 2016 to the end of March 2019, he and Martin Gottschild could be heard on the weekly radioZwei program on Radio Eins.

From November 1, 2019, Wosch will host the Tommy's Top Ten program on Radio Eins (rbb) .

Wosch's television career began with the Offenen Kanal Berlin , where he hosted the program Funny Minutes - We for You in 1996 . In the following years, Wosch tried himself as a director ( Das Arbeitstier , Sketch Comedy , ...), producer ( Frau Wosch and fat Micha , Starwosch ) and moderator ( ProSieben MorningShow , Germany's stupid crooks , good neighbors, bad neighbors ). He founded the production company Biller & Vass with Thomas Biller and together with him in 2004 produced the eight-part comedy series Die Wachmänner with Ingo Naujoks and Frank-Leo Schröder for the private broadcaster Sat.1 , which Wosch also directed.
