Martin Kaps

Martin Kaps (born March 26, 1979 in Cottbus ) is a German actor .

Life

After graduating from the Lausitzer Sportschule Cottbus, Kaps studied acting in England and the USA from 1999 to 2002 . As a news journalist and cameraman, he initially worked behind the camera in the USA, England and Germany.

Martin Kaps played his first major film role in 2007 in the feature film Mitfahrgelehmen , in which he played one of the two main roles. The film received special attention in social networks, especially due to its marketing strategy, in which news, video and audio blogs were used to report on the shooting in Germany, France and Spain. Kaps has appeared in numerous German television series such as Ein Fall für Zwei ( ZDF ), SOKO Stuttgart (ZDF), Pastewka ( Sat.1 ), SOKO 5113 (ZDF). From April to October 2011 he played the role of Ralf Borowski in the ZDF series Herzflimmern - Die Klinik am See .

Since April 2011, Martin Kaps has been playing the two-man comedy theater play Men's Evening with Michael Schiller on a regular basis .

Kaps has played property manager Kueppers in the comedy series Blockbustaz ( ZDFneo ) since 2014.
