Martin von Auen

Martin von Auen (born December 31, 1966 in Bad Langensalza , GDR ), real name Jörg Neubauer, is a German musician, producer, writer and actor.

In 1988 Martin von Auen founded the band "Creativ" together with the later guitarist of the rock group Keimzeit, Rüdiger Feuerbach. From 1991 to 1992 von Auen took a creative break, crossed Europe on foot and finally reached Morocco.

In 2005 Martin von Auen produced his first solo album, "Himmel und Hölle", which was located in the chillout genre . In 2006 he created a dark, rocky cover version of the "Neue Deutsche Welle" hit " Tri tra trullala (Herbergsvater) ".

As a result of his work, von Auen won the NDW star Miss Menke to record her NDW anthem "Hohe Berge" in an industrial style . This was followed by the idea and implementation of the album "Deutsche Welle 2.0", on which he played in the same style with many other interpreters of the "Neue Deutsche Welle", such as Michael Flexig ( Combo Colossale ), Paso Doble , Hubert Kah , Peter Hubert ( VHF ), Geier Sturzflug , Peter Behrens ( Trio ) and Ixi , worked together.

In 2012 there were two programs on the Canadian Internet broadcaster CKCU FM 93.1 about the work of Martin von Auen.

In addition to working on cover versions, he continued to publish songs as a writer and lyricist in his own band Seven Seals, which existed until 2010.

In 2013 von Auen teamed up with Nicole Kolb, former singer of the formation " Mysterious Art ", and both developed a new version of the title "Das Omen", which in 1989 had topped the charts across Europe for several weeks.
