Martina Amidei (born April 8, 1991 in Turin ) is an Italian athlete who specializes in 100 and 200 meter runs and is particularly successful with the 4 x 100 meter relay .

Athletic career

2010 Gloria Hooper appeared for the first time at international championships, the U20 World Championships in Moncton , Canada , and was eliminated there over 100 meters in the semifinals. At the U23 European Championships in the following year, she reached the semi-finals over 200 meters. With the season she finished fifth in the final. In 2012, she reached the semi-finals with the relay at the European Championships in Helsinki and was eliminated over 100 meters in the preliminary round. At the U23 European Championships in Tampere 2013 Amidei won the bronze medal with the relay, but over 200 meters she was eliminated again in the preliminary run. At the World Championships in Moscow , she failed with the relay on a finals. At the European Championships in Zurich , Amidei narrowly missed a medal in fourth place and was eliminated from the semifinals despite a new personal best.

Over 200 meters she was eliminated in the preliminary run at the European Championships in 2016 in Amsterdam and finished eighth in the final with the 4 x 100 meter relay.
