Martina Boehm

Martina Böhm (* 1965 in Lübz ) is a German Protestant theologian . She has been Professor of Biblical Exegesis and Early Jewish Religious History at the University of Hamburg since 2009 .

Life

From 1982 to 1985 she attended the ecclesiastical Oberseminar Potsdam-Hermannswerder and studied Protestant theology in Munich , Heidelberg and Leipzig , where she passed her first theological exam. She completed the vicariate and second theological exam in Dresden. She was a research assistant and assistant for the New Testament at the University of Leipzig , where she received her doctorate in 1997 and qualified as a professor in 2004 . From 2004 to 2009 she was pastor z. A. in the Leipziger Land , on parental leave and had substitute professorships in Mainz and at the HU Berlin .

Her main research interests are Luke , Matthew , Samaritana , Philo of Alexandria , the reception of scriptures and hermeneutics and exegesis in early Judaism .

During the revision of the Luther Bible 2017 she was responsible for the Gospel of Luke.
