Mary Ptikany Lorenge

Mary Ptikany Lorenge (* 1978 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon .

In 2000 she won the Paderborn Easter run on the half marathon route and came second in the Greifensee run and the Amsterdam marathon . In 2001 she was fifth in the Paris Marathon , second in the Cologne Marathon and third in the Millennium Marathon Madrid . After a seventh place in Paris and a third in Cologne in 2002, she finished sixth in Paris in 2003.

The following year she was third in the Berlin half marathon and second in the Ruhr marathon . In 2005, as in the previous year, she won the City - Pier - City Loop . She also won the Ruhr marathon and the Altötting half marathon and set her personal best as fourth in the Frankfurt marathon with 2:29:45 h. The following year she achieved her best time in the half marathon as third in the Berlin half marathon with 1:09:43. She finished third in the Vienna City Marathon and sixth in the Tokyo International Women's Marathon .

In 2007 and 2008 she won again at the Ruhr Marathon. In 2007 she secured an additional bonus because, with a target of 20 minutes, she ran before the male winner.

In 2012 she won the Belgrade Marathon and came second in the Bucharest Marathon .
