Massadio Haïdara (born December 2, 1992 in Trappes ) is a French football player who is currently under contract with RC Lens .

Career

He started his career at AS Nancy . He made his debut on December 11, 2010 against FC Sochaux . On January 10, 2011, he signed his first professional contract. He signed a three-year contract with AS Nancy. On January 25, 2013, he moved to the Premier League . He moved to Newcastle United for a fee of 2.5 million euros . He was the ninth French player to play for Newcastle's first team. He was one of five French players who moved to Newcastle that winter. He made his debut for Newcastle in the UEFA Europa League against Metalist Kharkiv . He played his first game in the Premier League on March 17, 2013 against Wigan Athletic . In the summer of 218, Haïdara moved to RC Lens .

National team

He has played four games for the French U-19 national team , two games for the French U-20 national team and the French U-21 national team . He made his debut for the U-21 national team on September 7, 2012 in the U-21 European Championship qualifier against Slovakia .
