Massimo Giustetti

Massimo Giustetti (born February 28, 1926 in Riva di Pinerolo , Piedmont ; † December 4, 2012 in Biella , Piedmont) was Bishop of Biella .

Life

Massimo Giustetti was ordained a priest for the diocese of Pinerolo on June 29, 1950 . Pope Paul VI appointed him on July 1, 1972 Apostolic Administrator of Pinerolo and Titular Bishop of Celene .

The Archbishop of Turin , Cardinal Michele Pellegrino , ordained him episcopal on August 27 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Albino Mensa , Archbishop of Vercelli , and Santo Bartolomeo Quadri , Bishop of Terni e Narni .

On March 21, 1974 he was appointed Bishop of Pinerolo. On December 17, 1975 he was appointed Bishop of Mondovì . On December 3, 1986, he was appointed Bishop of Biella by Pope John Paul II . On July 13, 2001, John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.

Massimo Giustetti has published numerous books.
