Mathæus Tobiassen

Mathæus Sebastian Adam Andreas Tobiassen (born September 22, 1911 in Kangeq ; † unknown ) was a Greenlandic catechist and councilor .

Mathæus Tobiassen was the son of Jakob (1877–?) And his wife Susanne Henriette Magdalene Josefsen (1877–?). On July 29, 1936 he married in Paamiut Cecilie Gundhild Karen Augusta Møller (1917–?), Daughter of Kristian Lars Daniel Habakuk Møller (1882–?) And his wife Agathe Thale Eleonora Ane Petersen (1884–?).

He studied at Grønland's seminary from 1928 to 1932. Later he was chief catechist in Paamiut for a long time . In 1974 he represented Ole Berglund in the Greenland State Council at two meetings .
