Mathias Wittich

Mathias Wittich (born  June 8, 1950 in Münster ; †  March 22, 2017 in Hamburg ) was a German film producer and screenwriter .

Works

Mathias Wittich made his debut as a writer and producer in 1980 with the film Daniel, directed by George Moorse . This was followed by the Vicki Baum film adaptation of Rendezvous in Paris (1981), adapted and staged by Gabi Kubach , with the French Claude Jade in the lead role, and Brandmale (1983) by Wittich and Moorse with Anne Bennent and Gila von Weitershausen . Other films produced by Wittich include: a. Die Bombe (1988) and Der Deal (1991), both directed by Christian Görlitz , and more recently in 2007 The Fourth Generation by Josef Rusnak (with Klaus Maria Brandauer , Ken Duken and Iris Berben ) and in 2008 the thriller Meet the Devil by Josef Rusnak (with Jessica Schwarz and Joshua Jackson ).
