Matt Devlin Moussilou (born June 1, 1982 in Paris ) is a Congolese football player .
biography
Beginnings
At the age of 12 he went to the football club in Le Bourget. At 15, he developed into a striker and caught the attention of Lille OSC and Paris Saint-Germain . In 2001 he signed his first professional contract.
Career
After he had signed OSC Lille, he was able to play with the team in the UEFA Intertoto Cup the next year . In this 2003/4 season he came on 16 missions and one goal. But the next season he scored seven goals in Ligue 1 and in the UEFA Intertoto Cup he scored one goal and set up another.
In 2005/6 he had his breakthrough, he scored five goals in four games in the Intertoto Cup and at the end of the season he scored 13 goals and three assists . He scored four goals, including in the UEFA Cup , and another in the Liga Cup against Olympique Lyon . He scored 23 goals and was named top scorer in April 2005 ahead of Alexander Frei (20 goals) and Pauleta (19 goals). In the next year he could no longer build on the success. He scored a goal against Saint-Etienne that was his last for Lille OSC.
Moussilou moved to OGC Nice for 3.8 million . There he failed to score in 22 official games.
It was awarded to Olympique Marseille as an option to buy in 2007 . But he was not used after six games because he did not score a goal. He was then loaned straight to Al-Arabi SC , where he was considered the best player in Qatar.
In the season on October 8, 2008 OGC Nice offered him again in the squad. On August 27, 2009, he ended his contract with Nice. He signed a contract with US Boulogne to secure its league receipt on October 6, 2009. He then spent 6 months without a club. On January 18, 2011, he signed a contract with FC Lausanne-Sport until the end of the season. The contract was finally extended because they had won the Challenge League and thus rose to the Super League .
National team
Moussilou plays for his home country Congo . In 2006 he was appointed to the national team for the first time. His first goal came on August 12, 2009 in a 1-1 draw against Morocco.
