Matthew Baroi
Matthew Baroi SDB (born August 31, 1925 in Narikelbari , India , † April 4, 1983 ) was Bishop of Krishnagar .
Life
Matthew Baroi joined the religious order of the Salesians of Don Bosco in and received on 8 December 1957, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On September 17, 1973, Pope Paul VI appointed him . to the bishop of Krishnagar. The Archbishop of Calcutta , Lawrence Trevor Picachy SJ , donated him episcopal ordination on December 15 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Amravati , Joseph Albert Rosario MSFS , and the Bishop of Dibrugarh , Robert Kerketta SDB.
