Matthias Kobena Nketsiah

Matthias Kobena Nketsiah (born April 14, 1942 in Kakomdo ) is a Ghanaian clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Archbishop of Cape Coast .

Life

Matthias Kobena Nketsiah received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Cape Coast on July 19, 1970 through the Bishop of Kumasi , Peter Kwasi Sarpong .

On November 24, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Abaradira and Auxiliary of Cape Coast. He was ordained episcopal by the Archbishop of Kumasi, Peter Kwasi Sarpong, on February 3, 2007. Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Accra , Gabriel Charles Palmer-Buckle , and the Bishop of Navrongo-Bolgatanga , Lucas Abadamloora . On May 31, 2010 Benedict XVI appointed him. to the Archbishop of Cape Coast.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on May 11, 2018.
